NEW DELHI: Micromax has launched a new music-focused 3G smartphone, Canvas Beat at Rs 9,999. The phone will be exclusively available through mobile operator Aircel.
Canvas Beat sports a 5-inch (540x960p) IPS display. Canvas Beat is powered by a 1.2GHz Broadcom quad-core processor and 1GB RAM. It sports 3D inbuilt surround speakers.
The phone sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, and a 2MP front-facing camera. It comes with 4GB internal storage and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The phone also features a microSD card slot.
Canvas Beat comes with a 1900mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, the phone supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 3G.
The smartphone comes with a promotional offer from Aircel featuring full talk time (Full talk time of Rs 118 on a recharge of Rs 118), free data benefits (1GB Data (2G/3G) per month for 30 days), music headsets, and an Aircel music app offers 1000 free songs.
